Cynthia Day Family Center

The Cynthia Day Family Center offers outpatient treatment for women, including pregnant and parenting women and their children. Services include:

  • Individual and group counseling.
  • Parenting education and support.
  • Childcare during treatment.
  • Medication-assisted treatment and relapse prevention.
  • Holistic care integrating women’s health, pediatrics, and mental health services.

NOTE: Medicaid and private insurance accepted. Sliding-fee scale and Medicare not applicable to Cynthia Day services.

Outpatient Rehab

What is Outpatient Rehab?

Outpatient rehab is a flexible treatment option allowing individuals to receive comprehensive addiction services while maintaining daily responsibilities. Unlike inpatient care, outpatient programs offer scheduled therapy sessions and support while clients live at home.

Medication-Assisted Treatment

Harbor Care provides evidence-based Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to support recovery from opioid use. Our program combines FDA-approved medications—including Suboxone, Vivitrol, Sublocade, and Subutex—with behavioral therapies to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms. This comprehensive approach promotes long-term recovery and overall well-being.

Rockingham County Recovery Court

Treatment Courts offer an alternative to incarceration for high-risk/high-need individuals with substance use disorders in the criminal justice system, integrating substance use treatment with judicial oversight. Participants receive structured treatment and additional support while living in the community under intensive case management and probation supervision.

Services:

  • Substance use counseling and therapy.
  • Access to peer recovery groups and support networks.
  • Coordination with higher level of care services deemed appropriate for person-centered care.
  • Criminal Thinking programming to address criminogenic needs.
  • Collaboration with recovery workers to maintain long-term recovery. Treatment courts are a compassionate and cost-effective alternative to prison, helping participants rebuild their lives.
