Qualifications & Cost
One-Bedroom Units
Eligibility is limited to veterans certified for a HUD-VASH voucher through the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
Two-Bedroom Units
Priority is given to veterans and their families, but non-veteran households may apply. Eligibility is determined by income limits.
Income Eligibility
- For a single person, income must not exceed 50% of the region’s average median income (AMI).
- For a two-person household, income must not exceed 60% of the region’s AMI.
Costs
- Rent: Residents pay approximately 30% of their income.
- Included: Heat and electricity.
- Resident Responsibility: Cable and internet.
- Security Deposit: Equal to one month’s rent.
