Pam received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Rivier University and also received her Master of Science in Nursing /Family Nurse Practitioner from Rivier University here in Nashua. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
When Pam joined the staff at Harbor Care in May 2023, she had over 25 years of nursing experience, especially in the area of pediatrics and women’s health care. This is her first time working in a FQHC facility.
As a nurse, she worked at two area hospitals in the ER and on a maternity and NICU unit. She also worked within a pediatric office caring for children of all ages. She has been a certified childbirth educator and lactation assistant as well. During this time, she learned about the needs of the community and that access to quality healthcare is essential for all, despite barriers that may occur, such as being unable to afford or access needed care. She enjoys working with the whole family.
“It is essential for children to have access to healthcare to manage and promote normal growth and development. Any missed opportunity may cause a detrimental delay to their growth affecting their future. Women deserve ample access to screenings, healthcare and resources to maintain their health and quality of life. Even those patients with little or no resources deserve the same quality of care as any other person.”
