Henry Och

President and Chief Executive Officer

Henry J. Och is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Harbor Care, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience in nonprofit healthcare. Prior to his current role, he served as Harbor Care’s Chief Operations Officer. His earlier leadership positions include Chief of Operations and Chief Information Officer at Lowell Community Health Center in Massachusetts.  From 2010 to 2014, Henry was also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Massachusetts, where he taught graduate courses in Health Informatics and Project Management.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, Henry served as an operations officer at ISAF Headquarters in Afghanistan in 2014, earning the Defense Meritorious Service Medal. He also deployed to Kosovo, where he collaborated with the Kosovo Police Service to combat human trafficking.

Henry holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management from the University of Massachusetts–Lowell. He also earned a master’s degree from the Harvard University Extension School and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Leadership Psychology (PsyD) at William James College in Newton, MA.

Henry has received several awards and recognitions for his leadership and achievements, including national recognition by the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, the National Association of Community Health Centers, and the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers.

In addition to his professional work, Henry is deeply committed to community service, serving on multiple nonprofit boards that support children, families, youth empowerment.  Henry is also an avid long-distance runner and has completed over 30 full marathons, including 10 Boston Marathons.
