Dr. Prathima Bayisetty, DMD
Board Member
Dr. Prathima Bayisetty is an accomplished general dentist with over two decades of experience in clinical practice, healthcare mentorship, and community service. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Boston University in 2003 and has operated a private dental practice in Belmont, Massachusetts since 2006.
From 2007 to 2021, Dr. Bayisetty served as a staff dentist at The Dimock Health Center in Boston, where she provided dental care to underserved populations and mentored students from Boston University, Tufts University, and Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
In 2023, she was appointed to the Board of Directors at Harbor Care, contributing her clinical insight and deep commitment to health equity. Her involvement supports Harbor Care’s mission to deliver integrated healthcare and housing solutions to vulnerable individuals and families.
Dr. Bayisetty is also actively engaged in community outreach. She volunteers at a soup kitchen affiliated with Lowell Transitional Housing, and regularly participates in free dental and medical camps organized by(LASA) in Lowell, serving uninsured and underserved populations with compassion and care.
In addition to her professional and volunteer commitments, Dr. Bayisetty is a dedicated yoga practitioner, enjoys gardening, and values quality time with her family. She also has a passion for traveling, finding joy and inspiration in exploring new cultures and experiences.
