Harbor Care hosted nearly 300 vulnerable neighbors at the 22nd Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner, hosted at the Harbor Care Health & Wellness Center in downtown Nashua. This beloved holiday tradition featured a warm, traditional turkey dinner generously provided by The Common Man Family and served by Governor Kelly Ayotte, U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan, and other distinguished officials.

“Thank you to our guests, supporters, staff, sponsors, public officials, and volunteers for making this day possible,” said Henry Och, President & CEO of Harbor Care. “Our Thanksgiving Community Dinner is a very special moment for me and for Harbor Care. We work hard to create a warm, welcoming environment where anyone—no matter where they are in life—can share a wonderful meal, feel connected, and access any services they may need. It’s a privilege to come together in gratitude, fellowship, and community.”

Among the dignitaries who joined to serve the feast were Governor Ayotte, U.S. Senators Shaheen and Hassan, U.S. Representatives Chris Pappas and Maggie Goodlander, and Nashua Mayor Jim Donchess. Together with volunteers, they helped serve a traditional meal, including 400 pounds of turkey and 150 pounds of mashed potatoes, to the dinner’s attendees.

This annual event, open to anyone in need of a hot meal and holiday companionship, was made possible by generous sponsorship from The Common Man Family, CGI Business Solutions, and McDonough Enterprises, as well as BAE Systems, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, NBT Bank, and AEG. Supporters also included Bank of America, Clarke Insurance, Enterprise Bank, and M&T Bank.
