Peer Recovery Support Services

Recovery often requires major life changes—from social activities to maintaining sobriety. Peer Recovery Support Services provide the community and resources people need to stay healthy, including:

  • Recovery coaching
  • Telephone support
  • Peer groups
  • Help navigating treatment services
  • Education
  • Wellness and recreational activities (e.g., yoga, art, music)

While Harbor Care doesn’t directly operate these organizations, we help them grow by providing technical assistance, building capacity, and acting as a business incubator. We also pass through millions in state funding to Recovery Community Centers subcontracting with us. These centers are vital to New Hampshire’s Resilience and Recovery Oriented System of Care and play a crucial role in lifelong recovery. Services are always free, though individual centers may have their own policies.
