Strength, Resilience & Love

Honoring the mothers at Cynthia Day Family Center — women building stability and hope for their families, one day at a time.

Mother’s Day holds special meaning at the Cynthia Day Family Center (CDFC).

The mothers who stay with us have experienced significant trauma in their lives.

They often come to us without possessions, family support, or a home.

Yet through this adversity, they seek a better life for themselves and in particular, their children.

About the Cynthia Day Family Center

The Cynthia Day Family Center is a trauma‑informed residential program where mothers and children stay together while receiving the support they need to heal and move forward.

CDFC provides a safe environment that includes:

  • Residential support for mothers and children
  • Healthcare and recovery services
  • Parenting education and family support
  • Case management and wraparound care
  • A stable foundation focused on long‑term housing and family wellness

By keeping families together during recovery and transition, CDFC helps mothers build the tools, confidence, and stability needed for lasting change.

The Mothers of CDFC

Each mother’s journey is unique — but all share a commitment to their children and a determination to build a safer, more stable future.

Healing happens in everyday moments — shared meals, quiet reading time, laughter, learning, and connection.

At the Cynthia Day Family Center, mothers and children create these moments together while working toward stability and brighter futures.
