His Last Winter Under a Bridge

Mike suddenly found himself homeless four years ago. He couch-surfed for a while; stayed in a shelter briefly. For much of the past 2 years Mike literally lived under a bridge in Nashua. Then he met Melissa.

This past summer, Melissa, one of our outreach team members, encountered Mike during an encampment outreach event. Mike knew he needed help. He knew he needed stable housing first.

After 4 years without a home, Mike had practically nothing to his name. This included no ID or Social Security card necessary for accessing permanent housing. Mike worked with our team to get the supports he needed. He also got proper identification.

Two weeks ago, Mike moved into his own apartment, ready for a new start and a chance to turn his life around.

You can help end chronic homelessness for individuals like Mike.

Today – Giving Tuesday – our goal is to raise $1,000 towards our Dignity of Home campaign to help end chronic homelessness in Nashua. Your donation can help make that happen!

Thanks to incredible community support of our Dignity of Home campaign, more than 40 individuals who were chronically homeless like Mike have moved into permanent housing. There are now less than 20 people who are chronically homeless in Nashua.

You can help end chronic homelessness in Nashua right now, and provide individuals like Mike with an opportunity to transform their lives!

Please give today on Giving Tuesday.

Thank you!
