Transforming Lives Through Employment
HVRP empowers veterans to rebuild their lives and achieve career success. Join us in supporting our veterans as they re-enter the workforce and contribute to their communities.
How It Works
HVRP helps homeless veterans rejoin the workforce, overcoming obstacles such as homelessness or instability. Through Harbor Care’s Veterans programming, participants gain essential support like housing, healthcare, and stability—key foundations for any job search.
HVRP Employment Specialists
Veterans then meet with an HVRP employment specialist to:
- Assess their skills and identify employment goals.
- Develop a tailored plan that may include education, on-the-job training, or vocational programs.
- Receive the necessary support, such as professional attire or tools, to ensure workplace success.
Qualifications & Application
HVRP serves veterans across 11 counties in New Hampshire, including Manchester and Nashua in Hillsborough County. To qualify, participants must:
- Be actively working their way out of homelessness.
- Meet program income guidelines.
