About the Stand Down

The NH Veteran Stand Down is a free event designed to connect veterans with a wide range of services and support in one location.

Our goal is to create a welcoming and accessible environment where veterans can explore resources and get the help they need.

What to Expect

More than 50 resource providers will be on hand, including:

  • Employment services
  • Medical and behavioral health care
  • Housing support
  • Benefits and claims assistance
  • Food and clothing
  • Additional community resources

Food & Entertainment

Breakfast and lunch will be provided, including free lunch from local food trucks for veterans.

The event will also feature live music throughout the day.

Preregistration (Optional)

Preregistration is not required to attend. Veterans are always welcome to come to the event.
Preregistering in advance can help our team better prepare and connect you with services if needed.

Throughout the event, veterans will be able to connect directly with providers and receive support in real time.

Community Partners

Registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit who’s primary purpose in attending the Stand Down is to provide direct services, benefits or resources to veterans at no cost – are invited to participate as Community Partners.

All applications are reviewed prior to approval.

Vendors

For-profit businesses may participate as vendors.

Business participation requires a $100 fee.

All veterans and their families are welcome to attend.

No. Registration is not required to attend. Veterans are always welcome to come to the event. Preregistration is available and can help us better prepare.

Veterans can connect with employment, healthcare, housing support, benefits assistance, and other community resources.

No documentation is required. If you have it, bringing proof of military service and/or proof of income may help connect you with services.

Transportation support may be available in some cases. If you decide to preregister – let us know if you are interested in day of transportation assistance and our team can follow up.
