Richard Pennell, Physician Assistant (PA-C)

Richard received his Master of Science degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Psychopharmacology. He specializes in mental health treatment of adults over the age of 18.

Soon after receiving his Master’s degree in 2019, Richard began working as a psychiatric physician’s assistant for Harbor Care. As a new graduate, he sought an environment in which he could best cultivate his skills as a healthcare provider. Immediately, he felt drawn to Harbor Care because of the deep level of integration involved in the treatment of every patient.

Richard values Harbor Care’s integrated service model because of the rich opportunity it offers to transform the lives of local community members. He says he has learned firsthand, while working with underserved populations, that the most daunting challenges offer the greatest rewards. The thing he appreciates the most, however, is working among compassionate, dedicated providers and staff. “I’m proud to call them my colleagues,” he says. “Harbor Care has become my home.”
