Donor Spotlight: Worthen Industries Supports Recovery
Gift Made in Memory of Dedicated Employee, Janet Kelliher
Worthen Industries and the Worthen Foundation have made a generous donation to Harbor Care’s substance use treatment services at Keystone Hall in memory of Janet Kelliher. Janet was a long-time employee of Worthen Industries, working with the company for 47 years, before retiring in 2011.
Janet held many roles with Worthen Industries throughout her career with the company. “Janet was a faithful employee for nearly 5 decades,” states David Worthen, CEO of Worthen Industries. “We are proud to make this gift in her honor and memory.”
Janet’s husband, Bob Kelliher, is a former board member of Harbor Care and important champion of the organization’s substance use treatment and recovery services at Keystone Hall. “I’ve been in recovery for over 50 years. Janet provided me the support to stay sober, and the opportunities to help others struggling with addiction. This gift is a great tribute to her, and will help many in our community in their own recovery journey.”
Last year, Harbor Care provided more than 600 individuals with substance use treatment services, including pregnant and parenting mothers at its Cynthia Day Family Center.
