Thank You to 100 Women Who Care
Thank you to Nashua’s 100 Women Who Care for their amazing donation of $25,850 to our Cynthia Day Family Center for parenting women in recovery. And thank you to Cheryle Pacapelli, Harbor Care’s Director of Capacity Building Efforts and Stand Up Recovery Centers statewide, for introducing 100 Women to our services.
100 Women Who Care is a worldwide organization with over 400 chapters in the United States. The philosophy is simple and brilliant – gather 100+ women, donate $100 four times a year, and the money goes to a local charity. Learn more about 100 Women and how to join the group here.
Substance use disorder is hard on mothers and expectant mothers, who face not only great stigma and high rates of postpartum depression, but who also live in fear of losing their children. As a single-mom, especially, it can be hard to find the time, childcare, and transportation to get help.
The Cynthia Day Family Center offers a unique set services, including specialized residential and outpatient treatment programs designed to meet the recovery needs of pregnant, parenting, and post-partum women and their young children. Services help women enter recovery, become self-sufficient, and care for their families. Please contact us for a confidential, over-the-phone assessment to help you determine what path towards recovery is the best way forward, based on your unique needs.
