Harbor Care solicits and gratefully accepts in-kind gifts that help the organization further and fulfill its mission.
Accepted Items:
Welcome Home and Basic Essential Personal Hygiene Kits are greatly appreciated by our clients and staff.
**All items must be NEW; no used items are to be included in personal care kits. **
Basic Essential Personal Hygiene Kit for Women:
(minimum 5 kits, not individual items)

feminine hygiene products (napkins, wipes, tampons)
large Ziploc freezer bag to hold items

Welcome Home Kits for Veterans and the Chronically Homeless:
To be given to those transitioning from homelessness to stable housing, including Veterans, people who are Chronically Homeless, and women and children in our Cynthia Day Family Center.
**Must be assembled kits in containers (laundry basket, plastic bin) or cash equivalent, not individual items.**

**All donations must be delivered to Harbor Care by the donor.**
We cannot accept used items at this time, this includes:
Mattresses of any kind and/or bedding
Appliances
Computers
Clothing
Footwear/shoes
Books
Food - Opened, Homemade or Expired
Harbor Care does not accept gifts that are in conflict with its mission, jeopardize its IRS status as a tax-exempt charity under section 501(c)(3), or are too difficult to administer in relation to their value, and reserves the right to reject any gift made to the organization.
