The Greater Nashua Continuum of Care has announced the opening of the annual NOFO/COC competition. Through this competition, the GNCOC selects housing programs for which it will request funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The competition is open to all Greater Nashua social services entities that are looking to open a new housing project or to sustain funding for a previously funded program.

While approximately $2 million is expected to be designated by the GNCOC for renewal of existing projects, there is $101,664 available in “bonus funding” which may go towards a new project which focuses on Permanent Housing - Permanent Supportive Housing (PH-PSH), Permanent Housing - Rapid Re-Housing (PH-RRH), Joint TH and PH-RRH, dedicated HMIS, or Supportive Services Only Coordinated Entry (SSOCE). An additional $91,096 is available through the “domestic violence bonus” to establish or expand a project providing housing and services to survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.

Any new applicants should review all the documents posted on the GNCOC’s website. Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the GNCOC prior to submission. Those projects currently receiving funds are also required to request renewals through this process. The GNCOC is seeking Letters of Intent for this funding by 9/8/21 at 3 pm and complete applications for new and renewal must be submitted by 10/15/21 at 3 pm.
