From Harbor Care with Love

Harbor Care’s Veteran Services Director David Tille recounts a story about Anya, a five-month pregnant Ukrainian friend determined to stave off Russian invaders in the interview below.

We have seen the scenes of heavily shelled Ukraine or the convoy of destruction heading towards its borders and heard the heroic stories of its largely civilian military rising up in the face of Russian aggression. Harbor Care stands behind these brave men and women willing to sacrifice everything to defend their homes.

We stand with them in their fight for freedom and independence because their principles align with our own veteran clients, who enlisted to enshrine these values themselves, and we support them because many of us have worn a similar uniform or fought in our own front lines to defend these values.

With all eyes on Ukraine and its brave attempt to remain sovereign and maintain its independence, Harbor Care’s Veteran Services Director David Tille discusses the agency’s commitment to support our own veteran heroes on New Hampshire Today.

David knows men and women in harm’s way in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia – including a young, pregnant Ukrainian woman dedicated to supporting her county’s independence – and has served himself, so he understands the commitment required to put your one and only precious life between tyranny and freedom in a way very few do.

As stories of extraordinary heroism continue to reverberate out of war-torn Ukraine, we salute both those soldiers and our own. Every soldier or veteran deserves a home, and that’s why we have dedicated ourselves to ending veteran homelessness.

Our fight is different, but our values are extraordinarily close: Ukraine fights to defend its homeland; we fight to help every New Hampshire veteran come home at long last.
