Northeast Delta Dental Foundation Awards $10,000 to Harbor Care To Provide Dental Care for Individuals Facing Homelessness
NASHUA, NH – Harbor Care has been awarded a $10,000 grant from Northeast Delta Dental Foundation in support of its on-site dental clinic at the Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center. This generous funding will help ensure access to high-quality oral health care for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, many of whom face complex barriers to care.

The Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center that integrates primary, behavioral, and oral health services. Through this grant, Harbor Care will continue to provide essential dental services to individuals in need, at reduced or no cost, including preventive cleanings, x-rays, and restorative care.

Harbor Care’s dental team includes a full-time dentist and two dental assistants, and works in close coordination with Harbor Care’s case managers and primary care providers to ensure seamless care and follow-up.
